Website Review: Articles and what I learned from them
1. NY Times' article over Charles Moore's house was interesting. I learned that this is the eighth house that he built for himself. Also, the house wasn't built up from the ground but remodeled from a 1930's home. As well, what I thought was most intriguing is that most rooms are open spaces and not private but his bedroom is hidden in the house.
2. His website shares a lot of information about him. Moore started his education in architecture at age 16 at the University of Michigan. He got his masters and Ph.D. at Princeton in 3 years and has taught at many universities including UT Austin. Moore’s personal and professional archive is located in Battle Hall.
